New York: In what could have been a major setback for India ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 game against Pakistan, Rohit Sharma was hit on his on his left hand glove. After being hit, he left the nets in Kentige Park. He then had a word with the support staff where he explained what exactly happened. As per a report on Dainik Jagran, Sri Lankan throwdown specialist Nuwan was bowling to Rohit. The ball spitted off a length and hit his gloves. He looked in a lot of pain at that point in time.

But again, shortly after the physios had a look and gave him a thumbs up, Rohit was back in the nets.
