Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri to share screen for Vishal Bharadwaj’s new project: ‘super pumped’

Shahid Kapoor is all set to enthral his fans together with his upcoming projects. The actor leaves no stone unturned in entertaining his target audience, and now he goes to share the screen space with none instead of the national crush, or Bhabhi 2, Triptii Dimri. On Friday (September 13), Vishal Bhardwaj announced that he's going to be reuniting with Kapoor for a new film, so that you just are ready to also feature Triptii.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house, Nadiadwala Grandson, shared the exciting news on their X (formerly often sometimes called Twitter) care for. Confirming the news, Vishal Bhardwaj expressed, “I’m extremely joyful to collaborate around the globe again with the incredible Sajid Nadiadwala, one amongst of the finest producers and a pricey friend, and the gifted Shahid Kapoor, my depended on talisman. What a delight to have Triptii Dimri, India’s National Crush, add her magic to this dream team!”

It has also been revealed that the shoot of the film will initiate soon. Other than this, Shahid is ready to captivate the target audience together with his new avatar within the upcoming film Deva. The film, which also features Pooja Hegde, will likely be released in theatres on February 14, 2025.

In Deva, Shahid is portraying a rebellious police officer keen on a high-profile case. As he digs deeper, he unravels a fancy web of deceit and betrayal, embarking on a perilous journey of investigation. Pooja Hegde plays the leading lady within the role of a journalist. Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva promises an action-packed roller-coaster ride stuffed with thrills and drama.

Triptii will next appear within the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. The film, scheduled for a Diwali 2024 liberate, also marks Vidya Balan’s return to the franchise, where she famously portrayed the enduring role of Manjulika within the 2007 blockbuster. Additionally, Triptii is gearing up for the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala is currently busy with the highly-anticipated shoot of Sikandar, featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.
