Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal to Register Marriage at Groom’s Home, Reception to Follow: Confirms Shatrughan Sinha’s Friend
According to Shatrughan Sinha's friend, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will register their marriage at the groom's home and then the family will celebrate the wedding at reception.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to tie the knot in a beautiful wedding on June 23, followed by a reception at Bastian, Mumbai. The couple has planned for a registered marriage. Shashi Ranjan, a close friend of Shatrughan Sinha, shared an update about the wedding, saying, “Sonakshi is marrying the man she loves. Everyone is participating, and Shatru ji’s brothers are coming from America for the wedding. The registered marriage will take place at Zaheer Iqbal’s house. It’s a very happy moment for me and the family.”
A day ago, Shatrughan Sinha confirmed his presence at the wedding. In an interview with Zoom, he addressed false reports claiming he wouldn’t attend the ceremony. He stated, “It’s my only daughter Sonakshi’s life, whom I am very proud of and fond of. She calls me her pillar of strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly.”
He added, “The fact that I am still in Mumbai shows that I am here as her real kavach (armor) as well. Sonakshi and Zaheer look very nice together.”
Addressing the false reports, Shatrughan said, “I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind your own business.”
On June 21, the pre-wedding ceremony kickstarted in Bandra with her mehendi rituals with close friends and family in attendance. The photos and videos of Sonakshi’s mehendi function have gone viral. Sonakshi looked stunning in a red and yellow sharara suit, while Zaheer wore a printed red kurta and white pyjama.
Even their beautifully decorated house videos have gone viral. The entire building is adorned with decorative string lights.
