The Pakistan cricket team are in the midst of a crisis right now. Pakistan, under the captaincy of Babar Azam, failed to make the semi-finals of the 2023 Cricket World Cup, finishing fifth with just eight points.

Their exit from the round-robin stage meant that captain Babar Azam faced a lot of criticism and scrutiny from former cricketers. The 29-year-old eventually resigned from Pakistan captaincy across all formats on Wednesday.
