WATCH: After 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', Shah Rukh Khan visits Vaishno Devi in Jammu to pray for 'Dunki' success

Shah Rukh Khan seems to have made it a tradition to visit the holy Vaishno Devi temple ahead of his films’ releases. The Jawan actor was spotted at the holy site for the third time in the last 12 months. Videos and pictures of the superstar, accompanied by manager Pooja Dadlani and security, are going viral on social media.

Notably, this comes days before the scheduled release of his upcoming film Dunki. He seemingly visited the temple in the wee hours of Tuesday as a video shows him walking along the cobbled path of the holy shrine in Jammu. While keeping his look all secret, Shah Rukh was seen dressed in a black puffer jacket with a hood, possibly to avoid drawing attention as always. The video shared by PTI on the X shows the actor’s entry inside the temple.

SRK’s visits to Mata Vaishno Devi temple

Exactly a year ago on 12 December 2022, Shah Rukh Khan visited the Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu before the release of his highly-anticipated film Pathaan. A picture of the actor with a red tika on his forehead also went viral on social media.

Next, it was in August this year that he paid a second visit to the holy shrine. Both his films Pathaan and Jawan turned out to be major hits at the box office, amassing crores in both domestic and global markets.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role followed by Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover in prominent roles. The film narrates the story of four friends travelling to London with dreams of better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones in India.

The trailer of Dunki was recently unveiled, promising the film to be a blend of adventure, emotion, and friendship.

Apart from the trailer, makers have also released a few songs from the film including Lutt Putt Gaya, Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se, and O Maahi. Meanwhile, the film will be released theatrically on 21 December 2023.
