Shahid Kapoor has enthralled his fans with his latest release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which hit the theatres today, February 9. The actor, besides being a bundle of talent and entertainment, is a foodie at heart and his recent Instagram video is a testament to his love for food. While the actor channeled his inner foodie in the now-viral clip, what left the netizens in splits was his mimicking Virat Kohli to reveal what all he would be eating.
The video starts with Shahid walking with a bat in his hand. He, then, goes on to do lip sync to the viral lines of Virat Kohli from an interview where the cricketer had shared the list of the food he would be eating after his match. Shahid’s hilarious and goofy expressions while lip-syncing to Virat’s lines and the way he held the bat seemingly have won the Internet. The video also displayed a text that read, “Promotions khatam hone ke baad waali feeling (The feeling after promotions are done)”.
Shahid Kapoor’s mimicry of Virat Kohli prompted reactions from his fans and Internet users who want the actor to continue dropping such videos. One of his fans wrote, “I’m living for these videos.” Another highlighted his walk saying, “That walk in the beginning.” A user even mentioned that the actor is the best choice for Virat Kohli’s biopic and commented, “Bhaisaab isilie keh rha hu SHAHID KAPOOR is literally the Best choice for Kohli’s Biopic.”
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a romantic comedy that has been written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. Besides Shahid and Kriti, the film also stars Dimple Kapadia and Dharmendra in the lead roles. The film portrays an impossible love story in the uncharted territories of Artificial Intelligence (AI) where Shahid, who is a robot scientist falls in love with a highly intelligent female robot, played by Kriti. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar have jointly bankrolled the film.
