AAP MLA Gurpreet Gogi Bassi dies of gunshot wounds under mysterious circumstances in Punjab
District Secretary of AAP, Paramveer Singh, shared that the MLA had returned to his home in Ghumar Mandi after attending routine events earlier in the day. He was with his family in his final moments.
Ludhiana West MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi reportedly died from bullet accidents below mysterious conditions late Friday evening. Joint Police Commissioner Jaskaran Singh Teja confirmed the loss of life, mentioning that Gogi used to be introduced tiring to DMC Sanatorium. His physique has been stored within the mortuary for a postmortem. In maintaining with Teja, the incident happened around tiring evening.
DCP Jaskaran Singh Teja told ANI, “Gurpreet Gogi used to be declared introduced tiring at the neatly being facility, his physique has been stored at the mortuary in DMC neatly being facility. Post-mortem shall be conducted. As per the relatives, he shot himself by accident, he sustained bullet accidents to his head. Reason for loss of life shall be clear once post-mortem document comes…”

Gogi had joined AAP in 2022 and defeated two-time MLA Bharat Bhushan Ashu within the direction of the assembly election from the Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency.
His wife Sukhchain Kaur Gogi used to be also a contestant within the Municipal Corporation elections nonetheless lost to Congress candidate Inderjit Singh.
