On Wednesday, February 11, the Mumbai Crime Branch confirmed that Aayush Sharma was sent a threatening email via Proton Mail by someone claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The incident follows closely after Ranveer Singh also received a threat in the form of a WhatsApp voice message demanding crores of rupees.
