Flight operations at key airports in Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot had been rapidly halted on Thursday, May 8, a day after India launched Operation Sindoor,  a scheme of targeted airstrikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The shutdown affected both home and worldwide flights, causing frequent shuttle disruptions. Based on the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Lahore and Sialkot airports will conclude closed for all flights except 6 PM on Thursday (native time), as reported by Aaj News.
