Kaun Banega Crorepati is not merely a quiz show; rather, it’s a show where many generations, personalities and ideas collaborate. Besides providing us with knowledge, the show also entertains the viewers. One such similar situation occurred recently when, in the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, the generational contrast took centre stage as Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday join Amitabh Bachchan on the iconic hot seat. Ananya and Katrik, who were there to promote their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, left the audience in splits with the special episode that entailed humour, music, and playful banter that blends classic charm with Gen Z slang.

In a promo released by the makers, Ananya Panday was seen introducing Amitabh Bachchan to popular Gen Z slang, leaving the veteran actor both puzzled and amused. She introduced him to trending Gen Z terms like “OOTD,” “drip,” and “no cap.”

At one point, Ananya calls Bachchan a “drip,” a Gen Z term used to describe someone stylish and cool. This classroom of Gen Z terms instantly left everyone laughing, further prompting a humorous reaction from the megastar, who jokes about the word’s traditional meaning. “Drip to me means water falling from the ceiling,” He says, hilariously.

The fun doesn’t stop as Amitabh Bachchan asks Ananya about her experience on the hot seat. She says “Bahut garam lag raha hai. Mujhe pata tha hot seat hoga, par itna hot hoga, yeh nahi socha tha.” She jokes about how intimidating the chair feels, admitting that while she expected pressure, she didn’t anticipate it to be this intense.

Kartik Aaryan adds music and dance to the mix

Kartik Aaryan also doesn’t leave any stone unturned in entertaining the audience. He teaches Big B popular hand gestures, including the Korean heart sign. Besides this, he makes the episode more lively by grooving with Big B on his famous song “Jumma Chumma.”
