One such incident that fueled a rivalry between the two stars happened at some level of the shoot of Yash Chopra’s Kaala Patthar (1979). Amitabh Bachchan, celebrated for being a component of several blockbusters and stealing the limelight, did something on the dwelling that hinted rivalry and end of a ambitious partnership.

Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan starred together in 6 movies. All the map through the shoot of the fight sequence in Kaala Patthar, which became their sixth collaboration, tensions boiled over. Amitabh reportedly lost his temper with Sinha and persevered to beat him even after Yash Chopra screamed ‘decrease.’ The fight sequence escalated, with Bachchan using a shovel to hit Sinha.
