Actress Ankita Lokhande’s pet dog, Scotch, has passed away. On Monday, the actress took to her social media handle and shared a picture of her dog along with a brief note, mourning his demise. “Hey buddy mamma will miss you so much. Rest in peace scotch,” she wrote.
As soon as the post was shared, fans immediately took to the comment section and mourned Scotch’s death. Besides fans, TV celebs like Amruta Khanvilkar, Mouni Roy, Vahbiz Dorabjee, and Ali Merchant, among others, also took to the comment section and expressed their grief.
On the other hand, Ankita’s husband, Vicky Jain while sharing a picture from their pet dog’s last rites, wrote, “Will miss you scotch.”
While fans were seen grieving over their favourite actress’s loss, showing support for her in the comment section, many also remembered that the dog was a gift from Ankita’s ex-boyfriend, the late Sushant Singh Rajput. “I remember this is a dog she got during Pavitra rishta, so both susanth and her emotions were attached to it,” a fan wrote, while another one commented, “This was Sushant’s dog!!!”
A few videos of the Kai Po Che actor playing with Scotch have also surfaced on social media.
Work Front Of Ankita Lokhande
One of the most popular contestants in Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande, entered the show with her husband, Vicky Jain, and was eliminated from the top four contestants in the grand finale. Her husband, Vicky Jain was also eliminated just a few days before the finale.
However, during her stay in the house, the Pavitra Rishta actress was seen mentioning Sushant Singh Rajput quite a few times. “I only talk about the good things because I feel I can tell these things about him through the platform, and I know a lot about him. I am proud to talk about Sushant. There is nothing wrong with it,” she told the media.
Meanwhile, after her exit, the actress announced her next project, Randeep Hooda’s ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar‘. The film will hit theatres on 22 March 2024.
