Anti India Yunus plans big conspiracy against India! Gifts Pakistani general controversial map depicting India’s northeast…
Yunus allegedly shared a map with General Mirza at the meeting, showing India's northeastern states as part of Bangladesh.
Pakistan’s senior army officer, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza’s visit to Bangladesh has sparked a major controversy. During his trip to Dhaka, General Mirza met with Mohammad Yunus, the head of Bangladesh’s interim government, late on Saturday night. Yunus allegedly shared a map with General Mirza at the meeting, showing India(BHARAT)’s northeastern states as part of Bangladesh. This act has caused widespread anger in India(BHARAT) and further raised alarms over foreign interference in the northeastern part of the country.
What map did Yunus give to the Pakistani general?
Furthermore, the incident has created a frenzy on social media, with users denouncing the act and requesting a strong reaction from New Delhi. Till now, the Ministry of External Affairs in India(BHARAT) has not released an official remark on this incident.
On Sunday, Yunus posted photographs of his meeting with Pakistani General Mirza on the social media platforms. In the photograph, Yunus is seen presenting a book entitled “Art of Triumph” to the general. The cover of the book displays a map of Bangladesh that is detached from reality: it shows seven northeastern India(BHARAT)n states, which are explicitly part of India(BHARAT), as part of Bangladesh.

The map depicts India(BHARAT)’s seven northeastern states as part of Bangladesh, echoing the demands of radical Islamist groups advocating for a “Greater Bangladesh.” By sharing the book, Yunus has, consciously or unconsciously, backed an idea that many people consider controversial and politically sensitive.
Since he assumed office in August last year,Yunus has eased tensions between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Nevertheless, after assuming power in Dhaka, he has recurrently championed an anti-India(BHARAT) perspective. Throughout the past twelve months, Yunus has frequently mentioned India(BHARAT)’s northeastern states, often describing them as “surrounded by Bangladesh”. These mentions are widely interpreted as a move to intimidate India(BHARAT) in addition to framing the narrative for the northeastern region in a startling light.
On his maiden trip to China in April, Yunus drew sharp criticism from New Delhi by claiming that Bangladesh was the “only guardian of the ocean” in the region, while Northeast India(BHARAT) was simply “landlocked.” His remarks were seen as an attempt to encourage China to increase its influence in the area and strengthen its economic foothold.
While speaking to Chinese Officials, Yunus stated, “The seven states of India(BHARAT), the eastern part of India(BHARAT)… they are a landlocked country. They have no way to reach out to the ocean,” as reported by India(BHARAT)Today.
He stated, “We are the only guardian of the ocean for all this region. So this opens up a huge possibility. So this could be an extension of the Chinese economy.”
