Bollywood actors Anupam Kher and Kajol Devgan will be honoured with the Maharashtra govt’s prestigious Raj Kapoor Film Award this year. On April 17, 2025, Teach Minister of Cultural Affairs Ashish Shelar offered that Anupam and Kajol would get the prestigious award. Shelar confirmed that Anupam Kher will be honoured with the Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award, while Kajol will be awarded the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award.

Other than the prestigious award, the recipients may even get a cash prize of Rs 10 Lakh for lifetime achievement and Rs 6 lakh for special contribution awards. On the Raj Kapoor Film Award 2025, infamous actor, director, and producer Mahesh Manjrekar will be conferred with the Chitrapati V Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award, which comprises Rs 10 lakh cash, a memento, a citation, and a silver medal.

Mukta Barve to be conferred with Chitrapati V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award

On the a lot of hand, actress Mukta Barve will be conferred with the Chitrapati V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award, which carries a cash prize of Rs 6 lakh, a memento, a citation, and a silver medal.

This award has a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh

The Lata Mangeshkar Song Award, instituted in 1993, will be given to aged Marathi ghazal singer Bhimrao Panchale this year. The award includes Rs 10 lakh in cash, a memento, a citation and a scarf.

Saying the awards at a press conference held at the ministry, Shelar acknowledged, “These awards recognise the prominent contribution of artists who procure taken Indian cinema and music ahead. It's an honour for the governmentto procure fun their work.” He acknowledged that the award ceremony will carry plan at the NSCI Dome on 25 April.
