We’re less than a day away from the start of Amazon’s October Prime Day, aka Prime Big Deal Days, and the retailer is now offering the best price ever for Apple’s latest MacBook Air.

That’s right, the 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip is a massive $250 off at just $1,049. It’s the entry-level configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of solid-state storage, but you also get your pick on color as all four shades—Midnight, Starlight, silver, and space gray—are down to the lowest price on record.

This bests the previous best price by a full $50, and there is no telling how long this savings on the 15-inch MacBook Air will stick around. It arrives right before Amazon’s second Prime Day of 2023, and you can score the 15-inch MacBook Air for $1,049 here.

Plus, Prime members will get Apple’s latest laptop quickly thanks to free, fast shipping, and you’ll have access to thousands of sales beginning at 3 AM ET on Oct. 10.

Get It.

Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air masterfully pairs an ultra-portable design with ample power and an expansive display. It takes the working formula of the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 and supersizes it to a degree.

That starts when you open up the biggest MacBook Air to see the 15.3-inch Retina display. Thanks to the big screen, it’s more expansive than a typical 13-inch screen, meaning it’s easier to multitask between applications and zone in on just one app. It also packs in the details with billions of colors, supports the P3 wide color gamut, and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits.

While a notch cutout is at the top, it fades away quickly and is home to the higher-quality 1080p FaceTime camera. This way, you can hop onto a Zoom meeting or FaceTime with friends on one device.

You can also be on a FaceTime call with dozens of open applications—from a browser like Safari or Chrome with dozens of tabs to Photoshop also cooking—without hearing the 15-inch MacBook Air make any sound. How? Well, that’s thanks to Apple’s M2 chip being extremely capable and also running cool, so there is no need for an active cooling system or fan inside. You can batch export dozens of photos and edit an entire 4K movie on the latest MacBook Air.

Apple’s rated it for up to 18 hours of battery life, and in our testing, we easily got through a full day filled with myriad tasks, even with some advanced creative operations tossed in. You can recharge the 15-inch Air via USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 or the single MagSafe 3 port. Both of which live on the left-hand side, while a single audio jack lives on the right.

This is packed into one of the most portable laptops around, as this MacBook Air is just 0.45-inches thick and only weighs 3.3-lbs. Talk about portability. It can also bring some oomph with sound as it offers a wide soundstage with support for Spatial Audio.

At a record-low price of just $1,049 in every color, there has never been a better time to score Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air. You’ll just want to move fast, as it’s anyone's guess for when this epic price drop will vanish.

You can get the 15-inch MacBook Air in Starlight, Midnight, space gray, or silver for just $1,049 at Amazon.
