The Sydney Sixers will enjoy home advantage when they take on the Brisbane Heat in the final of the Big Bash League (BBL) on Wednesday, January 24. The BBL final will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The two sides last faced each other in the Qualifier and Sixers had clinched a 39-run victory in that contest to qualify for the summit clash. The Sixers will head into the final having been unbeaten in their last four matches. A win on Wednesday will guide the Sixers to their fourth BBL title. It will also be the Sixers’ first-ever championship since their back-to-back titles in BBL 9 and BBL 10.

Meanwhile, Heat will take part in their second consecutive BBL final. Heat are aiming for their second BBL trophy having been crowned in the second edition of the competition.
