TV actor Satish Shah has passed away on Saturday. Director Ashok Pandit confirmed it by sharing a video on X.
Big BREAKING: Veteran Bollywood and TV actor Satish Shah, who is best known for his role in Television show – Sarabhai vs Sarabhai – passed away on Saturday. He was 74-year-old. Director and CINTAA official Ashok Pandit confirmed it by sharing a video. Shah was known for his charismatic screen presence and comic timing. Throughout his acting career, he acted in several TV shows and movies – including Kal Ho Naa Ho, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai, Main Hoon Na.
Ashoke Pandit said in the video that the veteran actor died due to kidney failure.
“Sad and shocked to inform you that our dear friend and a great actor Satish Shah has expired few hours ago due to kidney failure. He was rushed to Hinduja hospital where he breathed his last . A great loss to our industry. Om Shanti ,” Pandit shared on Instagram,

Ramesh Kadatala, Shah’s personal assistant for over 30 years, stated that the actor passed away at his residence in Bandra in the afternoon.
“It seems he passed away from a heart attack, however we are awaiting the final reports from the doctor about the reason behind his death,” Ramesh told news agency PTI.
About Satish Shah
Satish Shah worked in several movies such as – ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ (2000), ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ (2003), ‘Fanaa’ (2006), and ‘Om Shanti Om’ (2007). His last appearance was in the movie ‘Humshakals’ 2014, in which he played the role of Mr YM Raj.
As per reports, the actor hailed from Mandvi. He completed his graduation from Xavier’s College. After completing his graduation degree, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India(BHARAT), Pune.
In 2015, Satish Shah was appointed as one of the members of Film and Television Institute of India(BHARAT) society.

Comedy king and renowned actor Johnny Lever took to X and expressed his grief. “Feeling extremely sad to share that we’ve lost a great artist & my dearest friend of over 40 years. It’s hard to believe—I had spoken to him just two days ago. Satish Bhai, you will truly be missed. Your immense contribution to film and television will never be forgotten,” he wrote.
