The tremors had been strongly felt in Jammu and Kashmir, prompting americans to bustle out of properties and offices in fear. Per early reports from seismological companies, the epicenter was located in northern Pakistan, a spot known for frequent seismic process because of its location alongside major fault lines.
As per the National Heart for Seismology, the quake’s epicenter was located at latitude 33.63°N and longitude 72.46°E, at a depth of 10 kilometers below the Earth’s ground.
