Less than 3 hours after killing Charlie Kirk, the suspected killer messaged his partner about looking for something under his computer keyboard. Twiggs mentioned having found a note that read, “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I’m going to take it.”
Lance stated that she confirmed from Robinson if the note was a part of his prank at which he replied, “I am still ok my love, but am stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.”
Afterwards, Twiggs pressed for confirmation again, asking, “You weren’t the one who did it, right?” However, Robinson replied, “I am. I’m sorry.”

In the message, Robinson is observed panicking about the rifle he used to kill Kirk. Before Robinson’s surrender, the final message to his partner read, “(Y)ou are all I worry about love.”
