Chennai Power cut: Several areas of Chennai are set to face 5 hour electricity disruption on Tuesday. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced power outages in an awful lot of parts of Chennai city. The flexibility disruption has been notably cased caused by maintenance work and it would be be restored after the completion of maintenance work.

Teynampet: Poes Garden, TV Salai, Jayammal Road, Elango Salai, Poes Road areas, Rajakrishna Road, Eldams Road, Periyar Salai, Kamarajar Salai, Kamarajar Side road, Seethammal Colony areas, KB Dassan Road, Bharathiyar Side road, Bakthavatchalam Side road, Appadurai Side road, TTK Road, Cathedral Road, JJ Road, Parthasarathy Pettai, Parthasarathy Garden, KR Road areas, George Avenue, SSI Road, HD Raja Side road, ARK Colony, Anna Salai Part, Venus Colony and Murrays Gate Road.

Minjur: Minjur Town, TH Road- Minjur Town, Theradi Side road, Siruvakkam, Suriya Nagar, BDO Place of business, Vannipakkam, Seemavaram, RR Palayam Ariyanvoyal, Pudhupedu, Nandhiambakkam, Melur, Pattamandhiri, Vallur, Athipattu, SR Palayam, GR Palayam, Kondakarai, Pallipuram, Vazhuthigaimedu and Karayanmedu.

Chennai power cut affected area residents are advised to plan accordingly for the temporary suspension of power supply as maintenance work is carried out.

Orange alert in Chennai

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for districts like Cuddalore and Kancheepuram, with forecasts of heavy to very heavy rain from November 25 to 28. A low-pressure system over the east equatorial Indian Ocean and the nearby South Andaman Sea is predicted to augment into a depression, bringing significant rainfall to Tamil Nadu. Chennai is anticipated to experience moderate rain and cooler temperatures. Fishermen have been warned to avoid venturing into deep-sea areas caused by strong winds reaching speeds of as much as Fifty five kmph. Authorities advise residents to remain informed and exercise caution.

Power cut on November 23

Earlier on November 23, several areas of Chennai including Selaiyur, including Mangala Apartment, Serusti Villa, GKM College Road, Jai Water, K.K. Nagar, Perumalpuram, Saravana Nagar, Kargil Avenue, Ayyanar Avenue, Joel Apartment, and SV Forms faced power outage from 9 am to 2 pm caused by the maintenance work within the realm. On the choice hand, the provision used to be at 2 pm restored after the completion of maintenance work.
