CM Yogi announces massive interest rate cuts for farmers, says, ‘Loans now to be available at…’

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, inaugurated the Youth Cooperative Conference and UP Cooperative Expo-2025 in Lucknow on December 21, i.e., Sunday. The event was held in Jupiter Hall at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. CM Yogi, in his speech, highlighted that the Uttar Pradesh government is trying to decrease the rate of interest already provided by the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Rural Development Bank (LDB), as reported by ANI. He also had a meeting at the office of the Bharatiya Janata Party to review an event which is scheduled for December 25.

What did CM Yogi say?

The Chief Minister said the state government is moving towards the reduction of the rate of interest of the Uttar Pradesh Rural Development Board. He added that the loan will be available at a 6 per cent rate, with the remaining amount to be paid by the state government, as reported by ANI.

CM Yogi on central government

CM Yogi added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government had created the Ministry of Cooperation for the first time, which used to be a small department. He said, “As the country’s first Union Minister for Cooperation, Amit Shah has taken the cooperative movement to new heights,” as reported by the Free Press Journal.

Review meeting by CM Yogi

According to the reports, the chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, held a review meeting at the BJP’s Lucknow office on the same day. The aim of the meeting was to ensure preparations for the event to be held on December 25, which will be the inauguration of Rashtra Prerna Sthal by PM Modi.
