CM Yogi launches ‘Ekta Yatra’ in Barabanki, announces development projects worth Rs 1734 crore

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Ekta Yatra’ in the Kursi Assembly of Barabanki. This marks the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is popularly known as the Ironman of India(BHARAT). Before the launch, he also visited Mata Pateshwari temple to offer prayers.

Development projects

Yogi Adityanath mentioned that on the special occasion, the state government will provide Rs. 1,734 crore for the development projects of Barabanki.

Yogi’s mention of Patel, Ambedkar, and Birsa Munda

The Chief Minister highlighted the contributions of Dr BR Ambedkar, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Birsa Munda. He also added that in the last year, several historic events have happened, like Mahakumbh in Prayagraj and the upcoming occasion in Ayodhya.

Many officials were present during the occasion, including Satish Chandra Sharma, Sanjay Rai, Kamlesh Mishra, Avneesh Singh Patel, Kursi MLA Sakendra Pratap Verma, MLA Dinesh Rawat, former MP Priyanka Singh Rawat, District Panchayat President Rajrani Rawat, and District President Arvind Maurya.
