Countrymen's love shatters Congress abuses: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared on Monday, ahead of the Madhya Pradesh elections, that although his compatriots adore him, the Congress is adamant about mistreating him. However, they are free to do so because the people’s love for him outweighs their hatred.

“Congress is caught by Modi, who takes their ill-gotten wealth. Do you believe that Congress should face legal consequences? They mistreat me, and you love me,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked during a campaign stop in Barwani, Madhya Pradesh.

“They can mistreat me all they want, but your love breaks their mistreatment.”

The Prime Minister questioned whether they should be concealing the proceeds of crime under their mattress if they are honest, hard-earned money, pointing out the proceeds of crime that are being uncovered in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan through the various central investigation agencies.

“Observe how the mountains of notes amassed via the Congress’s ‘kaali kamai’ are being uncovered daily in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Is this honest money, earned the hard way? If so, why is it necessary to conceal it beneath the mattress?” he asked.

According to Prime Minister Modi, the election will determine Madhya Pradesh’s “bright future” and will involve more than just the battle between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“This election is not between the BJP and the Congress. It is going to decide the bright future of Madhya Pradesh. Congress leaders are responsible for pushing MP into a dark well. On the other side, there is BJP, which has pulled MP out of the darkness. The Congress wants to capture MP only to fill its empty coffers,” the Prime Minister said.

As per PM Modi, the BJP aspires to advance its ‘Nation First’ mission.

“On one side, there is Congress’ character and on the other side there is BJP that wants to take forward its pledge of service and its mission of ‘Nation First’,” he stated.

Modi went on to clarify, saying, “Take a look at our priority. I have to go to a few places because this election is so big, but yesterday I went to the border to celebrate Diwali with the Jawans.I’m travelling to Bhagwan Birsa Munda village in Jharkhand two days from now. Our top priority is this.”

Additionally, the prime minister promised the people of Madhya Pradesh that all of the promises made to them would be kept.
