New Delhi: In a breaking development, Delhi Baba Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, accused of molesting 17 women has been arrested from Agra. As per a report by PTI news agency, a Delhi Police team traced Saraswati (62) to Agra based on a tip-off. Earlier, police froze Rs 8 crore linked to Saraswati and parked in multiple bank accounts and fixed deposits. Who is Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati?
Saraswati, a former chairman of the management institute in southwest Delhi, allegedly forced female students to visit his quarters late at night and sent them inappropriate text messages at odd hours, the FIR against the Delhi Baba read. The FIR also said that he allegedly kept track of the students’ movements through his phone.
The First Information Report (FIR) filed against Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, accused of sexually harassing and molesting several women students, has brought to light disturbing details of his alleged misconduct.

The accused, also known as Partha Sarathy, who is the director of the reputed Sri Sharda Institute of India(BHARAT)n Management in Delhi’s upscale Vasant Kunj area, is facing a criminal case for allegedly preying upon female students enrolled in post-graduate management diploma courses under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) scholarship category.
According to the FIR, which has been exclusively accessed by Inews agency ANS, secret cameras were installed inside the girls’ hostel under the pretext of providing security. However, investigations revealed that the CCTV footage had been deliberately deleted.
