Delhi Metro Pink Line Majlis Park–Maujpur corridor set to become DMRC’s longest route at 71 km, to have 46 stations, 12 interchange hubs

The Delhi Metro’s Majlis Park–Maujpur corridor is about to open, making the Pink Line the longest route in the network and giving it the most interchange stations. Once the extension is operational, the Pink Line will stretch 71.6 km with 46 stations, and feature 12 interchange points, the highest in the Delhi Metro system, according to TOI. The new interchanges include Majlis Park and Maujpur, joining existing stations like Azadpur, Netaji Subhas Place, Punjabi Bagh West, Rajouri Garden, Dilli Haat-INA, Lajpat Nagar, Mayur Vihar I, Anand Vihar ISBT, Karkardooma, and Welcome. Currently, the Delhi Metro has 29 interchange stations in total. For comparison, the Blue Line has 10, the Yellow Line 8, the Red Line 4, and the Grey Line only 1.

The Pink Line extension will also bring several new stations, including Burari Crossing, Jharoda Majra, Jagatpur Village, Soorghat, Sonia Vihar, Khajuri Khas, Bhajanpura, and Yamuna Vihar. This expansion is expected to make travel easier for residents of North and East Delhi while improving connectivity with other major parts of the city.
