Kamala Harris in a rally at Phoenix raised concerns that if Trump is re-elected, he could push for extreme measures, such as banning abortion nationwide, restricting access to birth control, threatening fertility treatments like IVF.
Arizona: Vice President Kamala Harris in a rally in Phoenix criticized former President Donald Trump over his statement about protecting ladies, pointing out that he doesn’t believe of their right to make decisions about their own bodies. She to boot argued that Trump showed lack of respect for women’s freedom and intelligence to make decisions, specifically with regards to their own health and wellbeing.
This criticism comes after Trump, at some stage in a campaign at Wisconsin, showed his intent to “protect” ladies, pointing out, “I protect the people. I protect the ladies of our us of a. I protect ladies… I’m going to do it whether the ladies adore it or no longer,” as cited by The Washington Post.
Harris to boot highlighted Trump’s stance on “protecting ladies” in a post on X (formerly Twitter), where she wrote, “Did you hear what Donald Trump said yesterday? That he'll do what he wants, whether the ladies adore it or no longer.”

At some point of the rally, Harris also spoke about Roe v. Wade said, “And consider how we came. Donald Trump hand selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they'd undo the protections of Roe v. Wade and they did as he intended. Now in The u.s.a.a., one in three ladies lives in a state with the Trump abortion ban… And Donald Trump just isn't to any extent further done. Did everyone hear what he said yesterday? That he'll do what he wants whether the ladies adore it or no longer.”
“He would no longer believe that ladies must have agency and authority to make decisions about their own bodies. It really is the identical man who said that ladies needs to be punished for their choices. He simply would no longer respect the freedom of girls or the intelligence of girls to grasp what’s of their own best interest and make decisions accordingly but we believe ladies,” she to boot continued.
Harris also raised concerns that if Trump is re-elected, he could push for extreme measures, equivalent to banning abortion nationwide, restricting get right of entry to to contraception, threatening fertility treatments like IVF, and even forcing states to computer screen ladies’s pregnancies. She concluded pointing out, “If he became elected, he has been pretty clear in his behaviour and his deeds, he'll ban abortion nationwide. He's going to limit get right of entry to to contraception, put IVF treatments in danger and force states to computer screen ladies’s pregnancies.”
