Caracas: Amid the ongoing tensions between the United States and Venezuela, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro claimed that his country’s army possesses at least 5,000, a formidable arsenal of Russian-made Igla-S surface-to-air missiles, which are capable of countering US military activities. These powerful missiles could provide Venezuela with a strong deterrent against increasing US military attacks near the Caribbean. What Are Igla-S Missile’s Capabilities?
