Donald Trump issues Big statement over fighting next presidential election, rules of out possibility of becoming…, US president says…

New Delhi: In a major development, US President Doland Trump has ruled out the possibility of contesting the vice-presidential election to stay in power after 2028. However, he hinted that he wishes to become President for a third time. Talking about the chances of running for President again in 2028, Doland Trump said he would like to do so.

It is important to note that according to US law, no individual can serve more than two presidential terms. Therefore, Trump did not clarify what path he would take to seek a third term.

While speaking to reporters en route from Malaysia to Japan, Doland Trump said, “I could be allowed to run for vice president, but I have no plans to do that. I think people wouldn’t like it. It wouldn’t be right for me to run for vice president.”

Some of Trump’s supporters had floated the idea of him becoming vice president, which he dismissed. Trump also named Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as potential successors.

Here are some of the key details:

  • Doland Trump’s former strategist, Steve Bannon, recently claimed that a plan has been prepared to help the 79-year-old President secure another term in office.
  • Trump has not clarified what method he would use to run again.
  • He merely stated that he currently has the best approval ratings ever.
  • The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits presidents from serving a third term.

This is Trump’s biggest obstacle. To repeal this amendment, approval would be required from two-thirds of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, or from two-thirds of state legislatures calling for a constitutional convention.
