Donald Trump issues stern warning to Hamas, says Hamas will have to mend its way otherwise…, US president sends envoy to…

New Delhi: US President Doland Trump has issued a strong warning to Hamas, declaring that any violation of the ceasefire would result in its “total annihilation.” The U.S. president said, “For the first time there is peace in the Middle East. We had an agreement with Hamas that they would be very good. They would behave well, they would be good, and if they do not… then if necessary we will wipe them out. They will be wiped out — and they know this.”

“Hamas no longer has Iran’s support,” says US President Doland Trump

Doland Trump has accused Hamas of past violence and suggested the group no longer receives significant external backing, especially from Iran. “They went in and killed many people. They are violent people. Hamas has been very violent. But now they don’t have Iran’s support.” Trump said, “Now they really don’t have anyone’s support. They’ll have to be good, and if they’re not good, they will be wiped out.”

“There will be no participation by the U.S. military”: US President Trump

The US president emphasized that Washington will not deploy troops for this purpose, saying that “there will be no participation of the American military.” It is important to note that Trump’s remark came during his Oval Office meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. During the meeting the two leaders signed a multibillion-dollar agreement on critical minerals and defense cooperation.

Trump’s envoy meets Netanyahu

Israel had earlier announced that it had “reimplemented” the ceasefire agreement following a series of airstrikes in Gaza, which were launched in retaliation for attacks by Hamas on its forces. After this, US special envoy Steve Witkoff, and former President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.
