New Delhi: In a major development, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet his US counterpart Doland Trump today in the South Korean city of Busan. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has announced that, in accordance with the consensus reached between China and the United States, President Xi will meet President Trump. During the meeting, both leaders will exchange views on China-US relations and issues of mutual concern. This meeting between Trump and Xi Jinping is being considered significant since there is an ongoing tension between the two countries.

According to the reports, US President Doland Trump is optimistic about the upcoming meeting between the American and Chinese leaders in South Korea. He believes the meeting could yield positive results toward resolving several key issues.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Chaokun said that China is willing to work with the United States to achieve positive and concrete outcomes from the meeting.
