Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan congratulates Rajkumar Hirani on completing 20 years in the industry and it has a Jawan connect

One of the most successful directors, known for having a 100 per cent track record of delivering superhit films, Rajkumar Hirani completes 20 beautiful years as a director. As much as his films are special, his upcoming film ‘Dunki‘ makes it even more special as the film marks Raju Hirani’s 20 successful years in the industry. Having helmed some beloved films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, PK, and Sanju, he is one of those few gems who holds the power to connect with the audiences’ emotions with his storytelling skills. That being said, as Rajkumar Hirani is all set to enter his 21st year in the industry, he has received immense love from fans and also his actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, R Madhavan, Vidya Balan, and Vicky Kaushal among others.

In a video shared by Red Chillies Entertainment, clips including actors’ special messages for the filmmaker have been compiled together as they extend their congratulatory messages and best wishes ahead of Dunki‘s release.

Shah Rukh Khan who is all set to feature in Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Dunki’ begins by wishing the director “20 years of happiness and goodness, and 20 years of your cinema completing.”

“We have all grown up watching your movies and loved them, whether it’s Munnabhai, PK, 3 Idiots, and the list goes on and on. And on 21st of December is going to be your 21st year in cinema, which makes me happy to say that you are ‘Jawan‘ now. Here’s to the next 25 years of great cinema-making and teaching the world how to tell lovely stories. God bless you, sir,” he said.

Further, Ranbir Kapoor who got the chance to work with Hirani in the 2018 film Sanju can be seen saying, “Having the privilege to work with you, I can say that there isn’t a better, selfless, and nicer human being than you. Next, actor Vicky Kaushal, who also played a prominent role in the 2018 film went on to express his views, saying that the industry has been blessed to have a filmmaker like him.

The video also contains clips of Aamir Khan, who featured in the 2009 superhit film 3 Idiots. Aamir was seen extending his best wishes and greetings to his friend-filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. “He is one of my favourite directors,” he said further adding that he looks forward to seeing the filmmaker and SRK’s magic on the big screen.
