Elon Musk sells X, mostly to himself
The deal brings the social media company under a new corporate umbrella.

Elon Musk — Tesla (TSLA) CEO, provocative apostle for launching a spacecraft to Mars, intense ally of Donald Trump and scourge of authorities workers — did a deal he hopes will rationalize his company existence.
He announced Friday he equipped X, the role formerly acknowledged as Twitter, to his artificial intelligence startup xAI. Every will almost definitely be part of a new Musk-managed firm.
