Exclusive: Danish Pandor says Dhurandhar 2 box office will be ‘much more humongous’ after Ranveer Singh’s actioner crosses Rs 1,000 crore worldwide

Headlined by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar has become the talk of the town. The film, highly anticipated in 2025, has now emerged as the year’s biggest blockbuster. Helmed by Aditya Dhar, the film marks his return to the director’s chair after six years, following his last directorial, Uri: The Surgical Strike. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar also marks Ranveer Singh’s comeback to the big screen after two years, his last outing being Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023). From Ranveer Singh to Sanjay Dutt, the cast of Dhurandhar is nothing short of iconic. Among them, Danish Pandor’s portrayal of Uzair Baloch has captured the audience’s heart, making him a household name in the industry. In an exclusive conversation with India(BHARAT).com, Danish opened up about Dhurandhar 2 and its potential to surpass Rs 1,000 crore at the box office.

When asked about his expectations for Dhurandhar 2 given the phenomenal response to the first film, Danish said, “It is going to be much more humongous. Bohot sari chize hone wali hai uss mein bhi, and itni sari chize hone wali hai ke aap expect bhi nahi kar paoge. This is the only thing I have to say. You just have to book your tickets in advance and enjoy the experience, because what Aditya sir has done—the screenplay, the script—is extremely beautiful, and the execution is something you’ve already been witnessing.”

On whether Dhurandhar 2 could cross Rs 1,000 crore at the box office, Danish added,”InshaAllah, I have full conviction with the captain of this ship. I call him the boss man. His intent is pure, his passion for filmmaking is selfless, and he always thinks about others. He brings the whole team together with dedication and craft, and it has culminated into something huge. As I said earlier, when you put your heart into something and the audience showers you with love, it feels like a true victory.”

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection

Dhurandhar has been breaking records at the box office. Made on a budget of Rs 280 crore, the film has already minted over Rs 600 crore in India(BHARAT) and crossed Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. Aditya Dhar’s directorial shows no signs of slowing down. The collections rise further on special occasions: on Christmas, which marked day 21 of the film’s release, it earned Rs 26 crore. Upcoming occasions like New Year’s Eve are expected to push the domestic box office further, potentially taking it past Rs 700 crore in India(BHARAT).
