The State Bank of India issued a statement confirming that all its ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs), Automated Teller Machines (ADWMs), and digital services are fully operational and available for public use.

Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following India’s precision strikes on apprehension camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, unfounded news and misinformation are being spread with the only real aim of growing scare and difficulty amongst the Indian public. One such claim gaining traction is a viral WhatsApp message falsely pointing out that ATMs shall be closed for 2–3 days.
Nonetheless, the Truth Test Unit of the Press Files Bureau (PIB) has debunked this unfounded news that became once being circulated by loads of social media users. PIB has confirmed that there isn't any such directive and that ATMs will continue to operate as current.
In a put up on X(previously Twitter), PIB wrote,” Are ATMs closed A viral #WhatsApp message claims ATMs shall be closed for 2–3 days.
