Hailing from the “first family” of Bollywood, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020, leaving behind a legacy of his films including classics like Bobby, Rafoo Chakkar, Prem Rog, Sagar, and many more. While the late actor is still fondly remembered through his films, fans now also can’t help but find a striking resemblance between Raha, the daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and her grandfather, Rishi Kapoor. Ever since the star couple revealed their daughter’s face to the world, Raha’s look has taken over the internet, especially for those adorable eyes.
While fans found the little girl’s face quite similar to Rishi Kapoor, some also drew comparisons with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and even Raj Kapoor.
Amid all the guesses and theories, an edited picture featuring the late Rishi Kapoor and Raha has now gone viral on the internet. Showing the grandfather-granddaughter duo in the same frame, fans were seen getting overwhelmed. The picture also captured the attention of Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan who shared the same on their Instagram stories and expressed their happiness.
“This is such a great edit. It fills our hearts with happiness. Thank you (folded hands and purple emojis),” Razdan wrote while sharing the pic. Later, Neetu reshared her post and wrote, “This is too adorable (smiling face with hearts emoji).”
“I wish Rishi ji was with us even today…and with Raha too,” the caption of the picture read.
In the picture, Rishi can be seen in a blue T-shirt while Raha can be seen in a printed white dress with a tiara on her head. While the picture is completely edited, it once again prompted fans to note her striking resemblance with her late grandfather.
Alia, Ranbir reveal Raha to the world
After dating for a couple of years, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in April 2022 and welcomed their daughter Raha in November 2022. Ever since, the couple has been seen talking a lot about their daughter, however, refrained from revealing her face to the world.
It was on Christmas 2023 when the big reveal was done. As they arrived for Kapoor’s Christmas party, they came in front of the media, holding their daughter adorably.
