The India(BHARAT)n Railways is ready to boost high-speed rail connectivity with the launch of three new Vande Bharat Express trains on November 7, 2025. The announcement comes after a circular issued by Northern Railways on November 1, 2025. These new routes will offer passengers faster, safer, and more comfortable journeys across key parts of northern and central India(BHARAT). The three much-awaited Vande Bharat Express trains will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, November 7. The new services will operate on the following routes:

• Firozpur – Delhi
• Lucknow – Saharanpur
• Varanasi – Khajuraho

Varanasi–Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express timings and stops

According to the official schedule, Train No. 26422 Varanasi–Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will depart from Varanasi Cantt station at 5:25 a.m.

• Vindhyachal: Arrives at 6:55 a.m.
• Prayagraj Chheoki: Passes at 8:00 a.m.
• Chitrakoot Dham: Arrives at 10:05 a.m.
• Banda: Reaches at 11:08 a.m.
• Mahoba: Arrives at 12:08 p.m.
• Khajuraho: Terminates at 1:10 p.m.

For the return journey, Train No. 26421 Khajuraho–Varanasi Vande Bharat Express will depart from Khajuraho at 3:00 p.m.

• Mahoba: Arrives at 4:18 p.m.
• Banda: Stops for 2 minutes at 5:13 p.m.
• Chitrakoot Dham: Arrives at 6:13 p.m.
• Prayagraj Chheoki: Reaches at 8:20 p.m.
• Vindhyachal: Arrives at 9:10 p.m.
• Varanasi Cantt: Terminates at 11:00 p.m.
