Tuhin Kanta Pandey has been appointed as the new chairman of SEBI.
The Union Authorities Thursday appointed Finance Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey because the new Chairman of Securities and Alternate Board of India (SEBI). Pandey, a 1987-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer will change Madhabi Puri Buch whose three-year tenure will reach to an stop on February 28 (Friday).

A 1987-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, Tuhin Kanta Pandey, has Masters level in Economics from Punjab University, Chandigarh and an MBA from the University of Birmingham (UK).
