New Delhi: The Indian cricket team scripted history in Chennai on a Sunday morning as they registered more wins than losses in Test cricket for the first time since 1932 following an emphatic 280-run victory over Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. With this victory, India now have 179 wins out of 580 Test matches. India lost 178 times while drew 222 matches and one game ended in a tie.
Only England, Australia, Pakistan and South Africa a pair of of the heavyweights have more Test wins than losses. While Australia have 414 wins and 232 losses, England registered 397 wins as when in comparison to 325 losses in Tests.
