During a press conference held inside the Bigg Boss 19 house ahead of the finale, Gaurav was questioned about a topic he has long avoided publicly. A reporter asked him, “Aapki wife ko kids nahi chahiye, kya vo bohot calculative move tha sympathy card khelne ka?”

Hearing this, Gaurav’s emotions surfaced instantly. He responded with a tremble in his voice, almost breaking down “This is a very touchy…” He then gathered himself and expressed his feelings with honesty and clarity. “I love my wife. Main har vo baat manunga jo meri biwi kahegi.”

Gaurav Has Always Supported Akanksha’s Decision

Gaurav Khanna, who is being addressed as green forest outside, has also spoken before about respecting his wife’s choice. The actor had said, “I want to respect that decision. It’s been nine years since our marriage. She doesn’t want kids. I have to respect that decision.”

Laying emphasis on consent, he had said: “If a woman is not ready, then you should not force her. But yes, I love kids. She loves kids, but she has her reasons for not… because absolutely, a mother’s frame of mind is absolutely essential for the child. Ma, ma hoti hai yaar (A mother is a mother after all).”
