Goa fire tragedy. Three members of a Delhi family, and 20 staff members are among the 25 people killed in inferno that engulfed a nightclub in Goa on late Saturday night. According to officials, all 25 victims killed in the Goa nightclub fire tragedy have been identified, which include 20 staff members and five tourists.

According to the list of victims released by the Goa government on Sunday night, five tourists lost their lives in the blaze, including three members of a family from Delhi.

Three of Delhi family among victims

The victims from Delhi are Saroj Joshi, Anita Joshi, Kamla Joshi, who were identified by their relative Bhavna Joshi. Another victim, Vinod Kumar, was also a Delhi resident, while the fifth tourist, Ishaq, a native of Karnataka, was identified by his father M D Hussain, authorities said Sunday.

20 staff members killed in nightclub blaze

The list identified 20 staff members of the ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub who died in the inferno as follows; five from Uttarakhand, four from Nepal, three each from Jharkhand and Assam, two each from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, and one from West Bengal.

The victims from Uttarakhand have been identified as Jitendra Singh, Satish Singh, Surendra Singh, Sumit Negi, and Manish Singh, whole the four Nepalese nationals were identified as Churna Bahadur Pun, Vivek Katwal, Sabin, and Sudeep.

Those from Maharashtra include Dominic and Manoj Jora, while Rohan Singh and Sunil Kumar were from Uttar Pradesh. The lone victim from Darjeeling (West Bengal) was identified as Subhash Chetri.

Those from Jharkhand are identified as Mohit, Pradeep Mahto, and Binod Mahto, while three from Assam are Manojit Mal, Rahul Tanti, and Digambar Patir, the list stated.

A massive fire ripped through the `Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub at Arpora in the early hours of Sunday, leaving 25 people dead.
