Singer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal has received a major legal relief in a defamation case that has been creating waves in the entertainment and sports circles. The Bombay High Court has stepped in to provide interim relief, marking a positive turn for the artist who had been battling accusations made by actor-producer Vidnyan Mane.

Court issues order against Vidnyan Mane

According to Palash Muchhal’s lawyer Shreyansh R Mithare, the Bombay High Court has issued an order restraining Vidnyan Mane from making any statements about Palash that could harm his reputation.

The lawyer confirmed that the order is a positive step and emphasized that the next hearing in the matter is scheduled for March 11. The court’s action ensures that no further public statements or allegations from Vidnyan can impact Palash’s personal or professional image while the case proceeds.

What is the entire matter?

The legal battle began after Vidnyan Mane alleged that he was cheated of Rs 40 lakh by Palash Muchhal in connection with the co-production of Palash’s film Nazaria. Mane claimed that the two had met in December 2023 and agreed to collaborate on the project. Despite providing the funds, Mane alleged that the film was never completed and when he asked for his money back, he received no response.

cusing him of being unfaithful during the festivities. In response to these statements, Palash decided to pursue legal action and filed a Rs 10 crore defamation case against Vidnyan. The legal notice cited the allegations as “false, outrageous and highly defamatory” with an intent to damage Palash’s reputation.
