Gunshots fired near Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai residence, police rushes to the spot – WATCH

Mumbai, often known as one of the safest cities for celebrities, has come across an incident that has sent shockwaves after gunshots were reported near Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence. While the reports have suggested no injury, the investigation is underway and has raised serious concerns about the safety of prominent industry figures.

Four rounds of gunfire were reported

According to officials and eyewitnesses present at the scene, there were four gunshots fired outside the filmmaker’s home, which is located in the Juhu area. The incident took place late Saturday night and caused a sudden alarm. Firing caused panic in the neighbourhood, prompting residents to alert authorities immediately.

Police rushed to the spot, and security was tightened

As soon as this shocking incident took place, police officials were quick to take action. Police teams quickly arrived at the location and deployed additional personnel in and around the building. Security agencies cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure, and patrolling has been increased to prevent any untoward situation.

Soon after this incident happened, videos of high security arrangements and police gathering outside the residence started circulating online.

The Mumbai Police Commissioner later also confirmed that an extensive investigation is underway. He said, “Firing has taken place at the building. We are investigating all possible angles to identify the culprits.”
