Now, a picture confirms this. The Grand Alliance is holding an important press conference today, Thursday, October 23, 2025. A poster has been released featuring only Tejashwi Yadav. Thus, it has been confirmed that Tejashwi Yadav is the leader of the Grand Alliance.

The Grand Alliance was shrouded in crisis, from seat-sharing to leadership, but now everything seems to be clear. Congress, which had openly refused to accept RJD’s leadership, has now conceded what it had long been hesitant to do. Congress has surrendered to RJD and accepted Tejashwi Yadav as the Grand Alliance’s leader. A publicly released photo has unraveled all the knots within the Grand Alliance. Congress has accepted Tejashwi Yadav as its leader in Bihar. The Grand Alliance has released a poster for a press conference scheduled for October 23, 2025. It features only Tejashwi Yadav’s photo. What did Tejashwi Yadav say?

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, on Wednesday denied any conflict within the Grand Alliance, saying everything would be clear by October 23. Regarding the ongoing differences between the Congress and RJD in the Grand Alliance, Tejashwi Yadav had stated in Patna that there was no conflict and that all answers would be available tomorrow, October 23. This poster has since surfaced.

Tejashwi also announced that all contract workers working in various departments of the Bihar government and the approximately two lakh “Jeevika Didis,” community mobilisers, would be made permanent if the Grand Alliance (India(BHARAT) Alliance) formed a government. The RJD leader stated that if the opposition alliance forms the government in the state, these Jeevika Didis would be paid a salary of ₹30,000 per month. He said that if the India(BHARAT)n National Development Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) alliance comes to power in the state, the interest of the ‘Jeevika Didi’ who have taken the loan will be waived.

How did the alliance reach the consensus?

Earlier, on October 22, Ashok Gehlot visited Tejashwi Yadav’s home to meet him. After the meeting, which lasted about an hour, Gehlot emerged, saying that everything would be fine. In addition to the RJD and Congress, leaders from other constituents of the All India(BHARAT) Alliance, including the Left parties and the VIP, are also likely to meet. The Grand Alliance will demonstrate unity on Thursday and launch a joint campaign. Interestingly, Congress’s Ashok Gehlot stated that friendly fights could occur on five to ten seats.
