Illegal Indian immigrant truck driver, high on drugs, kills 3 in Southern California truck crash; Horrific videos surface

New Delhi: An India(BHARAT)n man, identified as an illegal immigrant in the US, has been charged with causing a fierce semi-truck accident in which three people in Southern California lost their lives. He has been identified as Jashanpreet Singh, 21. He was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while under the influence of heavy intoxicants as he crashed his big rig into slow-moving traffic on a San Bernardino County freeway, according to US news reports.

According to a post on X, 2 victims were burned beyond recognition.

Jashanpreet Singh was driving an 18-wheeler truck

Jashanpreet Singh was driving an 18-wheeler truck “driving under the influence (DUI)” of narcotic drugs when he smashed into slow-moving traffic on Interstate 10 in San Bernardino County, killing three people and injuring several others. The dashcam footage showed the truck never applied the brakes before the deadly impact. The Medical test confirmed that Singh was under the influence of a substance at the time of the crash, according to Fox News.

Not a lawful immigrant; ICE lodges detainer

Jashanpreet Singh was not a lawful immigrant, and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer following his arrest. He faces multiple charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Reportedly, he entered the USA by illegally crossing the southern US border in 2022 and was released into the country under the Biden administration’s “alternatives to detention” policy pending an immigration hearing.
