India will be buried in debris of its…: Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif rattled after India’s ‘erase from map’ warning, says, ‘Modi…’

India(BHARAT)n Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi’s stern warning to Pakistan — urging it to stop sponsoring terrorism on its soil if it wishes to retain its place on the world map–has triggered alarm in Islamabad. Now, the country is worried about how serious India(BHARAT)’s next move could be. In response to India(BHARAT)’s ‘erase from map’ warning, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has made a big statement. Earlier today, he responded to what he termed provocative remarks from top security establishments in New Delhi, stating India(BHARAT) would be “buried under the wreckage of its warplanes, Inshallah.”

What exactly did Khawaja Asif say in response to India(BHARAT)’s warning?

Sharing a post on X(previously Twitter), Defence Minister Khawaja Asif wrote,” The statements of the India(BHARAT)n military and political leadership are a failed attempt to restore their tarnished reputation. After such a decisive defeat with a score of 0-6, if they try again, the score, God willing, will be far better than before.”

When did Khawaja Asif make his controversial remarks?

“The way public opinion in India(BHARAT) turned against the government after the worst defeat in history, and how Modi and his clique lost their credibility, is evident from the pressure reflected in the leadership’s statements. Pakistan is a state founded in the name of Allah. Our protectors are Allah’s soldiers. This time, India(BHARAT), God willing, will be buried in the debris of its own planes. Allahu Akbar,” the post further reads.

What is the ‘erase from map’ warning?

India(BHARAT)n Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday issued a stern warning to Pakistan, saying the neighbouring country should stop sponsoring terrorism on its soil if it wants to retain its place on the world map.

It is to be noted that Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Air Chief A.P. Singh, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh cautioned that Operation 2.0 would be disastrous for Pakistan. India(BHARAT) initiated Operation Sindoor on May 7 as a result of the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. The India(BHARAT)n Air Force hit terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), killing over 100 terrorists.

While describing Islamabad’s narrative on India(BHARAT)’s losses as “fanciful stories” (‘Manohar Kahaniyan’), Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal A P Singh on Friday stated that at least a dozen Pakistani military aircraft, including US-origin F-16 jets were destroyed or damaged in India(BHARAT)n strikes during Operation Sindoor. As per the news agency PTI report, the Air Chief Marshal also said that India(BHARAT)n action damaged a large number of military installations in Pakistan that included hangars in three locations, radars in at least four places, command and control centres in two sites and runways in two air bases.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army criticised the recent remarks made by the India(BHARAT)n military officers and political leaders, warning that a future conflict between the two countries might lead to a “cataclysmic devastation”. In a statement, it also said that these “irresponsible statements” indicate a renewed attempt at “fabricating arbitrary pretexts for aggression” – a prospect which might “lead to serious consequences” for peace and stability in South Asia. Pakistan has continually asserted triumph in its battles with India(BHARAT), yet it has not shared any solid evidence to substantiate such claims, causing skepticism about any credibility it has.
