No matter having big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, and John Abraham your entire way during the lead roles, the romantic-psychological thriller had a disastrous run on the box office. Directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Ratan Tata, the film incurred a big loss and didn’t kind of connect well with the audience.

Aetbaar became inspired by the American film Fear released in 1996.
