iPhone 17 for under ₹50,000? How black friday deals are making Apple affordable in India
Grab massive Black Friday discounts on the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro in India. Prices drop below ₹50,000 with exchange offers, bank cashback, and limited-time deals.
Black Friday sales are a-buzzing across India(BHARAT), and Apple aficionados have a reason to cheer – the brand new iPhone 17 can now be bought for less than ₹50,000; some maths and favourable bank and exchange offers required.
Retailer Croma has priced the iPhone 17 (256 GB) at its launch rate of ₹82,900. The real discount, however, comes by way of a ₹1,000 cashback offer from participating banks and a ₹7,000 exchange offer from Croma itself – ₹29,000 more if you can add a further exchange bonus for trading in a recent iPhone. The sum of these reductions brings the final sale price down to as little as ₹45,900 until November 30.
The iPhone Air, the slimmer, lighter sibling of the baseline iPhone, also isn’t immune to such deep discounts. On sale at ₹1,19,900 at launch, Croma’s Black Friday discount and bank cashback, and exchange bonus take the effective price down to about ₹54,900.
Flagship seekers need not worry, either. The slightly more premium iPhone 17 Pro (256 GB), with its starting price of ₹1,34,900, can also be had at around ₹79,900 by combining bank and exchange offers. That’s still a healthy markdown on Apple’s new Pro‑tier smartphone.
Analysts say it’s not a mere coincidence that so many retailers have dug so deep on their discounting this year. Retailers are now trying to push larger inventory volumes by the year-end, and Black Friday sales are a fitting occasion to entice buyers. Apple’s latest releases, popular and in-demand as ever, are as prime a candidate for moving high volume as one is likely to find. For many buyers, the new iPhone 17’s ₹50,000+ value proposition, in particular, will be hard to resist: with a 120 Hz screen, Apple’s new A19 processor, dual 48‑megapixel rear cameras, longer battery life, and the company’s usual build quality at a midrange price point, the 2025 iPhone could be a tempting mid-generation upgrade from even more recent models.
There are a few disclaimers, however. The ultra-low ₹45,900 is available with the assistance of an exchange value, and those interested in that particular figure will be required to add an older smartphone (ideally an iPhone) to qualify for the larger discount. Those interested in cash‑only deals may not see prices this low. Supply, of course, is limited, and offers end on November 30, so procrastination could cost you.
If you’ve been waiting for a good excuse to make the jump to Apple’s latest and greatest hardware but weren’t planning to go all the way to flagship-level prices, well…this could be it. Buy the baseline iPhone 17 for under ₹50,000, the lighter, trimmer iPhone Air, or go all-out and purchase the Pro: if you’re in the market for a new iPhone, now may be the best time to ride the 2025 wave.
