Is Publix open on Memorial Day?
The grocery chain has revealed its plans for the upcoming holiday.
Memorial Day, a U.S. federal holiday noticed on the final Monday of May, falls on May 26 this year.
The vacation used to be established in 1868 to honor and mourn the death of troopers who died in the Civil War, and it has since evolved to incorporate all ladies and men folk who died while serving in the U.S. militia.
