A 1.8 km section of the greenfield expressway has already been connected to the Yamuna Expressway, allowing vehicles from Delhi, Noida, and Agra to reach the airport directly.

Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport) in Uttar Pradesh is almost ready to start operations. Reports suggest that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may inaugurate the airport on October 30. Alongside the airport, a major infrastructure project is also underway to improve connectivity i.e. a six-lane greenfield expressway. This expressway will directly link the airport to key cities in Haryana, including Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurugram.
The National Highways Authority of India(BHARAT) (NHAI) has confirmed that construction of the expressway is progressing rapidly. Work had slowed earlier due to monsoon rains and flooding of the Yamuna river, but now the project is moving forward at a fast pace.
The Greenfield Expressway is expected to reduce travel time between the two points (Faridabad to the Noida International Airport (Jewar) from approximately 90 km and over an hour to about 15-30 minutes and 31 km. The project will also feature a 10 km service road, and it will integrate with other major highways like the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via the KMP Expressway.
