Jim Cramer Reacts to the Eagles' Latest Free Agency Move

Eagles fans are happy about the team's latest move.

Howie Roseman has a pretty stellar reputation as the front office leader for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles franchise. 

Five years after winning the franchise's first and only Super Bowl, Roseman's personnel moves as Executive Vice President brought the Eagles back to the big game this February after being a team that was mostly looked over in the offseason.

Roseman's resume is pretty much bulletproof. But in sports the phrase "what have you done for me lately" is paramount and Eagles fans have been clamoring for some movement since the start of free agency. 

They got their wish Friday morning. 

Lane Johnson is one of the best right tackles in the league, and now the Eagles have him locked under contract for the next four seasons.

Though Cramer is excited by the move, retaining your own Right Tackle through an extension isn't the sexiest offseason move a team can make. 

Bringing in a top-name Wide Receiver or a big name Linebacker always elicits a big response from NFL fans. Offensive Lineman signing big deals is barely a blip on the radar.

But in an offseason where the Eagles biggest move has been cutting and then resigning starting Cornerback Darius Slay to an extension, the Lane Johnson extension is enough for Eagles fans to get excited.
